ArcelorMittal Exploring Divestment of French Steel Businesses
06/20/2016 - ArcelorMittal is looking at selling a stake in a French subsidiary while it explores a sale of a wire unit, which also has operations in the country, according to the Reuters news service.
According to Reuters, ArcelorMittal is discussing establishing a joint venture partnership for its SoluStil business, a sheet manufacturer serving the aerospace, rail and agriculture sectors. Meanwhile, it is weighing a potential divestment of its Wire Solutions unit, which makes fencing wire and nails.
