ArcelorMittal Returns Two Blast Furnaces to Service
10/02/2020 - ArcelorMittal has restarted a blast furnace in Germany and another in France as it shifts production to account for the temporary shutdown of a Belgian furnace, reports commodities news and pricing service S&P Global Platts.
According to Platts, the No. 3 blast furnace at ArcelorMittal’s Bremen plant in Germany and the No. 1 blast furnace at Fos-sur-Mer in France had been stopped at the end of March due to pandemic-driven declines in demand.
Platts has more here.
