Baosteel, China Construction Sign Cooperation Agreement
11/05/2010 - Baosteel and China Construction & Engineering Corp. recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two companies will establish a close cooperation in the R&D, procurement, investment, management, and other areas.
Baosteel and China Construction & Engineering Corp. (CSCEC) recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. According to the agreement, the two parties will establish a close cooperation in the R&D, procurement, investment, management, and other areas to enhance the competitiveness of both enterprises.
Baosteel Group Chairman Xu Lejiang and CSCEC Chairman and Party Secretary Yi Jun attended the meeting. Baosteel Group Corp. Deputy General Manager, BSEEG Co., Ltd. Chairman Zhao Zhouli, and Vice President of China Construction Co., Ltd. Wang Xiangming signed the agreement.
China Construction has cooperated with Baosteel for years; both are among the four companies that initiated the establishment of China Construction Co., Ltd. They have successful cooperation in building the Shanghai World Financial Center among other projects.
The companies expect to improve technical innovation, reduce operating costs, improve management, and enhance the competitiveness on both sides through the establishment of the strategic partnership.
