Breakout Reported at Illinois Bar Mill
08/07/2017 - Firefighters were summoned to the Alton Steel meltshop early Saturday morning after 100 tons of molten steel broke out of a ladle, according to The (Alton, Ill.) Telegraph.
According to The Telegraph, the accident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. No serious injuries were reported, but one employee was treated and released at the scene.
