Bri-Steel Manufacturing to Construct Second Thermal Pipe Expansion Mill
01/19/2023 - Bri-Steel, a manufacturer of large-diameter seamless steel pipe, announced it will build a second North American thermal pipe expansion mill in Enid, Okla., USA.
According to Bri-Steel, it has acquired the former GEFCO facility, which provides opportunity for future expansion and multiple options to produce a “hyper-efficient factory that can survive even the worst of times.”
The plant will produce 12- to 36-inch carbon steel and alloy steel seamless pipe with a wall thickness of up to 3 inches.
"We are excited to bring back 12" and larger seamless pipe manufacturing to the USA," said Neil Rasmussen, president of Bri-Steel Manufacturing.
Renovations and pre-commissioning work is to begin in the next few months.
