Calderys Celebrates Successful Commissioning of New Basic Monolithics Line
11/25/2025 - Calderys announced it has successfully commissioned and started commercial production of its new basic monolithics line at its CAPES plant in Odisha.
The company said the new line will meet the growing demand from India’s iron and steel sectors and neighboring markets in the Asia-Pacific region. Calderys said it intends to enhance its presence across key process industries to serve a wide range of industrial sites across the region.
“With our plant in Odisha, our goal is to make India more self-reliant in advanced materials, supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives, while setting new global benchmarks in sustainability, innovation and operational excellence,” said Ish Mohan Garg, senior vice president, Asia Pacific, at Calderys.
Calderys said it plans to open acidic and basic bricks lines, along with additional production units currently under development. They are expected to become operational in 2026.
