Carpenter Technology Adjusts Prices, Surcharge Mechanism
06/03/2005 - Carpenter Technology Corp. announced that its Specialty Alloys Operations unit it is increasing prices 5-10% on all premium melted alloys used in markets including aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical, power generation and oil and gas. The change takes effect immediately.
Carpenter Technology Corp. announced that its Specialty Alloys Operations unit it is increasing prices 5-10% on all premium melted alloys used in markets including aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical, power generation and oil and gas. The change takes effect immediately.
The Specialty Alloys Operations unit will also change its surcharge mechanism to increase the nickel premium component from $.23/lb. to $.30/lb. Prompted by the unprecedented rise in nickel premiums, this change is also effective immediately.
