CCR Technologies Inc. of Ontario, Canada, has been awarded the complete turnkey supply of a 2-strand billet caster for Gerdau Corsa of Mexico. The US$9M investment will increase plant productivity and increase product quality. The casting machine will incorporate CCR High Speed mold lube "VFC" and a Cut by Weight control system to allow total annual production of 400,000 tonnes per year. Start-up is scheduled for 3rd quarter of 2013.
