Chinese Steel Exports Resurge
09/03/2024 - Chinese steel exports are on pace to reach or exceed 100 million metric tons this year, an eight-year high, reports the (London) Financial Times.
“China has been flooding the world with steel and pushing prices down,” Ian Roper, a commodity strategist at consultancy Astris Advisory Japan, told the Financial Times.
