Chinese Steel Production Sets August Record

09/15/2020 - Healthy steel demand lifted China’s August crude steel output to a record 95 million metric tons, reports commodities news and pricing service Argus.

According to Argus, the country’s steelmakers produced 94.85 million metric tons during what’s typically been a slower month.
