In a statement, Danieli said the centerless turning machine will be capable of processing bars in diameters of between 50 mm and 125 mm. 

“The new peeling machine incorporates a number of unique design features, such as the automatic re-adjustment tool system that guarantees excellent dimensional tolerances of peeled products and the under-load tool setup that effectively compensates for wear on the peeling tools during operation, according to the continuous measurement of the actual peeled diameter,” the company said in a statement.  

“Also, high-pressure tool-cooling system will ensure optimal process temperature, preserving the tool service life,” it added.
