Danieli Automation Provides First Q-ROBOT to Mexican Market
06/06/2013 - In December 2012, the Gerdau Corsa electric meltshop in Tlalnepantla, Mexico, ordered from Danieli Automation a Q-ROBOT Melt system for its EAF, to enhance safety during EAF operations.
The system consists of a fully automatically-controlled, anthropomorphic robot, with benefits such as the reduction of tap-to-tap time, greater reliability of the sampling operation, maintenance of constant depth and tilt of the sampling lance, and increased safety for the operators.
The Q- ROBOT Melt will be commissioned by the end of July 2013.
