Danieli Bags Order for Vietnamese Cold Mill
07/16/2025 - Danieli has received an order from Vietnam’s Ton Dong A for a 400,000-metric-ton cold mill, the equipment manufacturer has said.
According to Danieli, the twin-stand, reversing mill will process low-carbon, hot-rolled strip for the construction and home appliance markets. The mill is part of a new cold rolling complex and will take the company’s annual cold strip capacity to 1.2 million metric tons.
The 4-high mill will feature Danieli’s process automation. It will be the third Danieli cold strip mill for Ton Dong A.
The mill is to enter service at the end of 2026.
