Danieli Centro Recycling to Supply Preshredder to Industrias López Soriano
05/18/2026 - Danieli announced its subsidiary, Danieli Centro Recycling, has been chosen to provide a new preshredder to upgrade Industrias López Soriano’s shredder plant in Zaragoza, Spain.
The companies said the new shredder will allow for safe debulking of materials, reduce explosion risks, stabilize the feeding process and provide consistent throughput to the main shredder.
The machine can process up to an estimated 110 metric tons hourly of mixed scrap and ELVs, 100 metric tons hourly of standard bales and 90 metric tons hourly of heavy bales. It has a modular hydraulic power pack and high-manganese rotors, the companies said.
