According to Danieli, the project at Feralpi Group’s Lonato facility involved installation of a tundish exchange system, called a “fly tundish” on a non-Danieli machine. The project was carried out during a six-week summer outage. 

The scope of supply included the engineering, mechanical, electrical, and automation components, assembly and start-up assistance services, and on-site training, Danieli said.
