Danieli Completes Upgrades to Croatian Steel Plant
10/22/2019 - Acciaierie Bertoli Safau’s Sisak plant in Croatia recently upgraded its special steel meltshop with a Danieli Automation Q-One power system, Danieli has said.
“The upgrade of the 78 ton melting unit led to a 20% reduction of electrode consumption and a 10% reduction in power-on time. A very low network flicker due to a quick control of voltage and current and a power factor constantly above 0.96 were achieved,” the company said.
ABS is Danieli Group’s steelmaking division.
