Danieli Corus Acquires NewFer
12/04/2025 - Danieli Corus B.V. and NewFer GmbH have signed an agreement in which NewFer will become a full Danieli Corus subsidiary, renamed Danieli NewFer GmbH, effective 1 December 2025.
The companies said Danieli NewFer will offer technology, engineering, supplies and services within the pelletizing technology and ore beneficiation packages to the global mining and primary steel sectors.
“NewFer’s expertise and technologies in beneficiation and agglomeration of iron ores are a perfect match to increase Danieli’s upstream portfolio: now, Danieli offers a comprehensive portfolio from iron ore to steel,” said Guido van Hattum, chief commercial officer at Danieli Corus.
Danieli Newfer will continue to operate from the Eschborn, Germany, head office while the organization in India will move to the Danieli Corus office in Kolkata, India.
About 35 employees from both offices will become members of the global Danieli team. Members of the NewFer leadership team will hold the same positions within Danieli NewFer GmbH, the companies said.
