04/02/2013 - Danieli Corus has received the order for the rebuild of blast furnace No. 1 operated by Alchevsky Metallurgichesky Kombinat (AMK) of Alchevsk, Ukraine.
Danieli Corus has received the order for the rebuild of blast furnace No. 1 operated by Alchevsky Metallurgichesky Kombinat (AMK) of Alchevsk, Ukraine. The furnace will be rebuilt based on the integrated high-conductivity blast furnace cooling and lining system with a dense copper plate cooler pattern. This is the only design with a proven capability for long campaigns despite the substantial thermal, chemical and mechanical attack that come with operating at e.g. high productivity or on sub-optimal raw materials quality.
