Danieli Lands Order for Ingot Grinders
05/21/2021 - Danieli has received an order for two ingot grinders from Italy’s Rubiera Special Steel, the equipment manufacturer has announced.
In a statement, Danieli said the grinders, which are bound for the company’s Casalgrande steel works, will process polygonal, multi-faced, round and square ingots of up to 120 metric tons.
“Both grinders will be equipped with Danieli belt-driven spindles driven by 120-kW main motors and Danieli original Hi-Grind removal control system, which will ensure consistency in surface quality and removal depth,” Danieli said.
The grinders are being installed on a turnkey basis and will be fully operational by early 2022, Danieli said.
