Danieli Tapped for Pickling Line Upgrade
12/27/2016 - Danieli Service has won a contract to revamp the entry section of the pickling line at ArcelorMittal’s Fos-sur-Mer sheet mill in France, the company has announced.
The project, which entails the installation of a new high-performance leveler, is intended to improve the quality of the strip coming into the welder. It also is meant to improve the line’s reliability and reduce downtime.
Under the contract, Danieli Service will dismantle the existing equipment, install the new equipment and oversee commissioning. The work is set to take place during an annual maintenance outage this summer.
