Danieli to Deliver New Round Section For Interpipe Steel’s CCM #2
01/23/2026 - Danieli announced it will deliver a new 310-mm round section for the continuous casting machine #2 (CCM #2) at the Ukrainian electric arc furnace–based steelmaking complex Interpipe Steel.
Danieli said the scope includes engineering, mechanical and process design to ensure it integrates seamlessly with the existing casting machine. The upgrade will allow CCM #2 to cast 310-mm round billets.
The new round section will be engineered to match current performance standards of Interpipe Steel’s casting operations, the company said.
The companies said the expect commissioning before the end of 2026.
