Danieli to Deliver Rolling Mill, 4-Strand Caster to Hoa Phat
01/05/2026 - Danieli announced Hoa Phat Group has selected it to supply a new long product rolling mill and a 4-strand continuous casting machine for its facility in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam.
The companies said the plant will produce rebar from 10 to 32 mm and wire rod coils from 5.5 to 8 mm. Operations are to be based on the direct-changing process, with billets transferred directly from the caster and temperature-equalized by induction heaters. They estimate an annual capacity of about 700,000 metric tons annually.
The 4-strand continuous casting machine supplies billets made specially for the rolling mill’s requirements. The plant will operate with little energy use and low environmental impact due to the hot-charging operation and induction-based temperature control, the companies said.
The companies said commissioning is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
