Danieli to Deliver Two SDM Cutting Lines to Hengyang Valin
11/14/2025 - Hengyang Valin has turned to Danieli to supply two SDM cutting lines for integration into its seamless pipe mill currently under construction in China.
The company said one of the lines will be for billet cutting with two machines while the other will be for tube layer cutting. Both lines will be connected to the FQM™ retained mandrel mill production line. It is designed to produce 800,000 metric tons of seamless pipes annually ranging from 323.8 to 610 mm in diameter with wall thicknesses up to 65 mm.
Both cutting lines will have SDM vertical sawing units, cut-to-length systems, hydraulic stations and automatic crop discharge. Danieli Automation will provide automation and process control.
The companies said start-up is scheduled for 2026.
