Danieli to Supply New Quench and Self-Temper Line to Nucor Bar Mill

09/12/2019 - Danieli will be installing a new quenching and self-tempering system at Nucor Steel’s Marion, Ohio, USA, facility, the supplier reports.

The new system will be able to roll single and multi-strand rebar at speeds of up to 13 m/second while improving the mechanical properties and yield strength of the steel.

The project is expected to wrap up in the next few months, Danieli said in a statement.
