Danieli Water Treatment Plant at Nucor Steel Florida Receives Final Acceptance
11/19/2021 - The water treatment plant for the 380,000-tons-per-year facility in Frostproof, Fla., USA, has met all applicable local standards, according to the equipment supplier.
The design includes Danieli’s DanFilters and features a fiberglass tank to allow a “closed-circuit operation,” according to Danieli.
The facility’s Zero-Scale Separator made it possible to forego digging a deep scale pit, thereby reducing excavation costs.
