Danieli Wean United to Supply Hot-Dip Galv Line for Tezcan
10/09/2007 - Danieli Wean United to supply a 400,000 tonne/year hot-dip galvanizing line for Tezcan Galvanizli Yapi Elemanlari Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS in Turkey.
Tezcan Galvanizli Yapi Elemanlari Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS, Turkey, has contracted Danieli Wean United to supply a hot-dip galvanizing line.
The new 400,000 tonne/year galvanizing line will process LC, MC, and HSS grades for high-quality products to serve the automotive industry, as well as the high-end construction and architectural markets. The new line will also help the company gain the ability to serve the appliance markets.
Strip thickness for the new line will range from 0.25 to 3.0 mm, and width will range from 800 to 1300 mm. The line will run at a process speed up to 200 meters/minute. The line entry is designed to process coils over 30 tonnes, and the exit is configured to produce coils down to a 5-tonne minimum size.
The line will also feature a state-of-the-art Danieli Kohler Kohlerjet™ zinc wiping equipment package. The surface conditioning mill and the tension leveler also will be of Danieli Wean United design.
Commissioning is scheduled for 2008.
