El Marakby Taps Danieli Centro Combustion for Reheating Furnace
11/12/2025 - El Marakby for Metallic Industries (MKM) has tapped Danieli Centro Combustion India to supply a new 60-metric-ton-per-hour pusher-type reheating furnace for its rolling mill facility in the 6th of October Industrial Zone, Egypt.
Danieli said the furnace will have its burners designed to provide uniform billet heating, minimize scale formation, and reduce fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.
The new reheating furnace will be fully integrated with the existing rolling mill to improve thermal efficiency and billet temperature consistency.
MKM said the design reflects its commitment to energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
The companies said start-up is scheduled for mid-2027.
