Essar Group Completes Land Deal for Saudi Arabian Mill
12/21/2021 - India’s Essar Group has signed for 3 million square meters of land in Saudi Arabia, where it plans to build a flat-rolled steel plant, reports Kallanish Commodities.
According to Kallanish, the electric arc furnace mill will be located in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City.
Iron and steel news and pricing provider Metal Expert reported that the plant will be set up to produce 3 million metric tons of slab and hot-rolled coil. It also will include a tin mill and two direct reduction plants.
