Ferrosource Metal Processing Plant Approaching Completion at Big River Steel Works
05/05/2026 - Ferrosource announced that the metal processing plant it is working on at United States Steel Corporation’s Big River Steel Works in Osceola, Ark., USA, is approaching its scheduled completion in August, Arkansas Money & Politics reported.
The company said the facility will process and service products including galvanized, Galvalume®, galvannealed, prepainted and cold-rolled steel.
“By locating processing directly at Big River Steel, we can offer manufacturers a fundamentally more efficient supply chain: lower logistics costs, faster turnaround, fewer material touches and access to responsibly produced steel,” said Kevin Udolph, vice president of commercial and business development for Ferrosource.
