FIMIGroup to Deliver Two Heavy-Gauge Leveling and Cut-to-Length Lines to JSW Steel
04/24/2026 - FIMIGroup announced it will deliver two new heavy-gauge leveling and cut-to-length lines to JSW Steel in India.
The companies said the first one will be the world’s largest heavy-gauge cut-to-length line with the ability to process steel up to 32 mm thick, 2,600 mm wide and coil weights up to 55 metric tons. It will integrate in-line ultrasonic defect detection. The second cut-to-length line will be able to process material up to 25.4 mm thick.
FIMI said both lines will feature its torque dynamic distribution system (TDDS®).
Delivery is scheduled for the first half of 2027, the companies said.
