Fives’ Tube Mill Technology Supports Sughd Metal Reaching Full Production
01/23/2026 - Fives announced with the use of its tube mill technology, the Sughd Metal plant has achieved its designed output capacity at its facility in Tajikistan.
Fives said the facility features metal cutting, processing, tube manufacturing and packaging operations. The target of 100,000 metric tons of welded steel tubes annually has officially been reached and exceeded.
“We are proud to see our technology contributing to Sughd Metal’s growth and leadership in Central Asia. The mills’ reliability and performance have opened new market opportunities for our partner, reinforcing their position on the international stage,” said Luca Cagnolati, sales and marketing director at Fives OTO.
The company said the OTO mills demonstrated high availability, stable performance and high tube quality since their start-up.
