Fives Lands Order for Galvanizing Furnace
11/28/2017 - China’s Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel has awarded a contract to Fives for a continuous galvanizing line furnace and inductors, the equipment supplier has announced.
In a statement, Fives said the galvanizing line will be dedicated to making ultrahigh-strength steel and will be capable of producing 360,000 metric tons annually. Fives will be outfitting the line with a Stein Digiflex furnace and CELES inductors.
The new line is being installed at Shougang Jingtang’s Caofeidian facility, which already has five Fives furnaces in operation.
