Fives Supplies Eco-Friendly Reheating Furnaces
10/07/2019 - Fives has been contracted for reheating furnaces for two separate steelmakers in China, the company reported.
The first project, for Yantai Walsin Stainless Steel, is for an ultralow-NOx emission furnace used to reheat long products such as stainless steel bars, coils and wires. The Stein Reheating WBF, a walking beam furnace, has a capacity of 85 tons per hour.
The second contract is with HBIS SHISTEEL for the supply of two Stein Digit@l Furnaces, each with a production capacity of 130 tons per hour.
The scope of both projects includes engineering, equipment supply, construction and commissioning.
