Flux Steel Works to Renovate Ohio Plant Into GOES Mill

“Every power transformer built in America needs this steel, and almost none of it is made here. Our goal is not just to be the core steel provider of choice for transformer manufacturers, but to accelerate Ohio's reindustrialization,” said Steven Stein, chairman of Flux Steel and its majority investor, Etude Capital.

The facility is 626,000 square feet and can produce about 260,000 metric tons annually. The company estimates commercial production will begin in 2029 and create over 200 full-time skilled manufacturing jobs, reported PR Newswire.
