Gazprom Executives Visit Posco’s Gwangyang Works
11/11/2011 - Posco recently invited eight strategy executives from the Russian gas company Gazprom to Gwangyang Steel Works to tour key facilities and discuss future plans.
Posco recently invited Lobanova Tatiana and seven other strategy executives from the Russian gas company Gazprom to Gwangyang Steel Works to tour key facilities and discuss future plans.
Posco and Gazprom updated each other on key pipeline projects in Russia and agreed to set up meetings with Russian steel pipe manufacturers to discuss future marketing and technology cooperation plans.
Gazprom is the world’s largest buyer of steel plate APIs, according to Posco, which is stepping up its efforts to expand sales of API rolled steel in Russia.
Posco also recently signed a comprehensive MOU with Russian resources developer Mechel on resource and infrastructure development.
Gazprom is a Russian state-owned gas corporation. It holds 20% of the world’s natural gas reserves.
