Harsco Called Upon to Support New Integrated Mill
05/09/2017 - Mill contractor Harsco Corp. has been awarded a US$25 million contract to provide services at Tata Steel’s new Kalinganagar works in India, the company announced on Tuesday.
Through the multi-year contract, Harsco will provide metal recovery and specialized slag services – it is being tasked with commercializing and selling the byproduct.
“By delivering exceptional performance and pace-setting innovation, our aim is to build on this award and become the preferred long-term partner for all of Tata’s India operations,” said Chris Whistler, chief operating officer of Harsco’s metals and minerals division.
