Harsco Wins Extended Agreement With Stainless Manufacturer
03/10/2016 - Mill services provider Harsco Corp. has won a five-year contract extension at a Belgian stainless mill, the company has announced.
With the extension, Harsco will continue its decade-long relationship with Luxembourg-based Aperam's Chatelet mill. Harsco provides a variety of services in support of the mill's electric arc furnace based stainless production, including on-site scrap yard management, slag transportation and production-slab grinding.
The extension, plus the remainder of the current contract, are worth more than US$100 million in projected revenue, Harsco said in a statement. The mill is considered to be one of Western Europe's most efficient stainless mills, Harsco said.
