Integrated Steelmaker Retains Harsco for Scrap Management
08/09/2017 - Mill services contractor Harsco Corp. has renewed its scrap management contract with Al Ezz Dekheila Steel Co.'s Alexandria, Egypt, plant.
In a statement, Harsco said the renewal extends its presence at the integrated facility for another five years. Harsco has been providing on-site steel mill services in Egypt since 1994.
“As we continue to grow our market-leading role in the Middle East and Africa region, this renewal reflects our customers’ confidence in Harsco’s long-standing commitments to quality and safety. Our regional leadership team has developed excellent and trusting relationships with our customers, which continue to translate into attractive, long-term contracts,” said Chris Whistler, chief executive of Harsco’s metals and minerals unit.
