JFE Plans to Raise Capital for Decarbonization, Expansion Projects
09/05/2023 - Japan’s JFE Holdings is moving to raise approximately JPY200 billion (US$1.37 billion) for decarbonization projects and to expand electrical steel production, according to NikkeiAsia.
According to the publication, the steelmaker is hoping to line up JPY100 billion to JPY120 billion through a public share offering. The remainder is to come from a five-year convertible bond.
