Jingjiang Yongjin Presents FAC to Primetals Technologies for Reversing Cold Mill Electrical Project
12/09/2025 - Chinese stainless steel producer Jingjiang Yongjin Metal Technology has awarded the final acceptance certificate (FAC) to Primetals Technologies for the supply and installation of a level 1 and level 2 automation system at its 20-high reversing cold mill No. 3 in Jingjiang City, China.
Primetals Technologies said the project included level 1 and level 2 automation systems, a drives system with the HD33 medium-voltage drive, excitation, drive-PLC control and automation control instruments.
Partnered with Inovance, the new medium-voltage drive delivers high mill performance and production reliability. It has a modular design, resulting in reduced costs, while the standardized and adaptable solution reduced installation and commissioning time.
Inovance and Primetals Technologies said they intend to continue their collaboration in the future.
