JSHL Commissions Precision Strip Mill in Expansion Plan
10/21/2021 - Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Ltd. (JSHL) yesterday commissioned a 26,000-metric-tons-per-year precision strip mill, bringing the capacity of its Specialty Products Division to 48,000 metric tons per year.
The precision strip mill is part of the first phase of a brownfield expansion plan at JSHL’s Specialty Products Division. The expansion, according to JSHL, is part of the company’s plan to leverage its position in value-added and specialty products, and will strengthen its presence in segments such as automotive and oil and petrochemical.
