JSW Executive Discusses Plans for Ohio Mill
12/13/2018 - JSW Steel’s Mingo Junction plant in Ohio has restarted its electric arc furnace, is bringing the caster on-line and plans to have as many 1,000 people eventually working on site, reports The (Wheeling, W.Va.) Intelligencer.
“This will be a large facility,” said Pete Vojvodich, JSW Steel USA’s vice president of human resources and safety said during a local business gathering, the newspaper reported.
JSW acquired the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel mill earlier this year and is planning to invest up to US$500 million in the facility.
