JSW Steel USA Halts Construction on Baytown Expansion
08/22/2019 - JSW Steel USA has put their expansion plans for their Baytown, Texas., USA, steel works on hold, reports S&P Global Platts.
The US$500 million project, which would include the installation of a new electric arc furnace and slab caster, has been temporarily shelved due to challenging market conditions, according to Platts.
