According to KOCKS, the unit will be the heart of Baoshan's new special bar quality rolling mill. The unit will serve as a finishing block for the 620,000-metric-ton mill. It will follow 20 stands in H/V arrangement and produce straight bar in diameters ranging from straight bars with finished sizes ranging from 20 mm 100 mm.

In addition to the equipment, KOCKS will supply a remote control for stand and guide adjustments, roll shop equipment, and KOCKS software solutions. Commissioning is scheduled for mid-2025.
