Louisiana Approves Funding for Benteler Steel Project
08/16/2013 - A Louisiana state panel has approved using US$20 million in state Mega Project funding to complete a deal bringing a Benteler Steel manufacturing facility to the Port of Caddo-Bossier, according to a local report from The News Star.
The state funding is divided US$16 million for infrastructure improvements to provide access to the site and a US$4 million grant to Benteler to develop the site and facilities. Total estimated cost for the two-phase development is US$892 million…
