Midrex Names New Managing Director of Midrex India
02/24/2026 - Midrex announced it has promoted Aashima Vadhera to managing director of Midrex India.
Vadhera has been with the company for almost 14 years and is a member of its executive staff. Her experience includes leadership, business strategy, tax advisory, corporate governance and regulatory matters. The new role will give her oversight of Midrex India’s full functions including India Engineering.
“Under Aashima’s leadership, the office is well positioned to strengthen its capabilities, support customers across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, and contribute to Midrex’s long-term strategic growth,” said a press release.
Vadhera joined Midrex’s India office in 2012, leading the financial and administrative operations for both the India and Shanghai offices. Her team provides financial and administrative support to project execusion, marketing and sales across Asia and MENA. In addition, she also serves on the board of Midrex Gulf Services and works with the Midrex Commercial Team.
Before joining the company, Vadhera worked with Ernst & Young and PwC. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds B.A. degrees in law and commerce. She’s also a graduate of the Midrex Leadership Institute, Cohort 2.
