MORE Supplies 215th EAF Manipulator
08/27/2019 - Italian EAF equipment supplier MORE srl has reached a sales milestone, landing its 215th order for a one of its CATFIS automatic temperature and sampling manipulators.
In a statement, the company said the order was received from Italian steelmaker Ferriere Nord for its plant in Potenza.
“The CATFIS manipulator is a simple and reliable device for temperature/carbon/oxygen/sample measuring and has been developed to accelerate operations and improve operator safety,” the company said in a statement.
“It falls within the ZERO MEN AROUND concept, the new approach for removing human operation and managing electric arc furnaces in fully automatic mode.”
