Nanjing Iron and Steel Plans to Build New Steel Mill
07/12/2012 - The Chinese Iron and Steel Association (CISA) said Jiangsu Province-based steel producer Nanjing Iron and Steel Co. is planning to build a new steel mill, including a continuous casting workshop, with an annual steel production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes.
The Chinese Iron and Steel Association (CISA) said Jiangsu Province-based steel producer Nanjing Iron and Steel Co. is planning to build a new steel mill, including a continuous casting workshop, with an annual steel production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes.
Jiang Youchun, vice president of Nanjing Iron and Steel, has signed a contract for construction work on the project with state-owned China Metallurgical Group. Work on the project is expected to be complete in September 2013.
