According to Primetals Technologies, the facility’s primary technology supplier, the facility includes a coupled pickling line and tandem cold mill, a continuous annealing line for tinplate, and a temper and double cold-reduction mill. The facility's output is intended to serve the export and domestic markets. 

The pickling line, in conjunction with the tandem cold mill, is designed to roll 1 million metric tons of cold strip and black plate annually. The setup features Primetal’s patented iBox pickling process and a 5-stand, 6-high Universal Crown Control mill. The mill stands have AC drives and high-response, hydraulic gauge control.
