Nippon Steel Explores Carbon Capture Project
01/25/2023 - Nippon Steel Corp. and two other companies will explore the potential for carbon capture and storage project, according the Reuters news service.
According to Reuters, Nippon Steel on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with Exxon Mobil Corp. and Mitsubishi Corp. to initiate discussions on transporting CO2 from Japanese steel plants to underground facilities affiliated with Exxon.
